What to memorize before anything else

HUD labels and data plates begin. Hurricane-resistant homes after this date, with no factory roof ties, do not get over-the-roof ties added.
5 ft 4 in and 2 ft
Diagonal frame ties no farther than 5 ft 4 in. An anchor within 2 ft of each end. Same 2 ft for the first pier and for end centerline ties.
18 in / 12 in
Florida I-beam clearance is 18 inches. On a slope, never under 12. Do not use another state’s 12-inch HUD minimum.
